The Discoverer Program will deploy a space-based radar system to provide precision geolocation, birth-to-death target tracking, and deep indications and warning capabilities.

Moving Target Exploitation Program (MTE) via Air Force Research Labs

The MTE Program will develop and demonstrate the capability of ground moving target tracking and behavior pattern analysis algorithms to extract information about militarily significant activities from radar MTI, HRMTI and SAR data. These algorithms will be demonstrated with Joint STARS and SEP test data.

When deployed, the MTE Ground Station will provide an affordable, continuous all weather surveillance capability to the battlefield commander providing the essential intelligence necessary to achieve information superiority throughout the battlespace.
